A serene boat ride that gives guests the chance to discover a bit of the flora and fauna at Lake Duluti while enjoying a local-style BBQ and drinks. This makes for the ideal combination of nature, food and relaxation.

Arusha Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Lake Duluti in Tengeru

After pickup at 1pm you will be transported directly to Lake Duluti in Tengeru. As we leisurely make our way around the lake you can learn more about its flora and fauna and may spot some of the birds common to the area such as gray herons, fish eagles, cormorants, ospreys, egrets and kingfishers. While having drinks guests can enjoy the serenity of the surrounding forest as well as views of Mounts Meru and Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Meanwhile, your chef will be preparing your ‘nyama choma’/local style BBQ, which you will enjoy on-board. Guests will also have the chance to experience the sunset on the lake in the evening, after which they will be returned to their hotel.

The tour ends at the lake after sunset around 6:30-7 pm.
