This is an immersive bean-to-cup experience that teaches visitors how to prepare coffee from scratch using traditional utensils and methods.

Arusha Tour Itinerary
The process is entirely manual and you begin by pounding the dried beans in a large wooden mortar and pestle to remove the outer husk. The beans are then roasted in a clay pot over a charcoal fire which endows them with a more rustic flavor. Once roasted, the beans are pounded into a fine powder and you then brew and enjoy a cup of your organic, single-origin coffee.
The tour ends at the garden at 1pm or 2:30pm for clients having lunch.

- If clients choose to include food as an add-on they will have lunch at our garden site at 1pm
- A typical local lunch may consist of an assortment of meat (beef or chicken), rice, pilau (spiced rice), chapati (flat bread), beans, vegetables, salad and fresh fruit. Water or fruit juice included.

- In the event that we have to cancel a tour due to adverse weather conditions, clients will be notified and reimbursed.
- We recommend clothes and shoes that are comfortable for walking/hiking, something warm for the evenings or a jacket for the cooler months (June-August).
